To Our Members, 

We deeply appreciate your understanding and patience as we navigate the challenging circumstances related to the Coronavirus. We are all operating in unknown territory right now, and we are working as quickly as we can to keep you updated and address your questions. 

At the Titusville YMCA, everything we do is guided by our commitment to support our community, and this is even more critical now. When you belong to the Y, you are not only a member of a health and wellness facility, you are a member of an organization dedicated to strengthening our community. In difficult times, the Y pivots in response to community needs, and finds ways to use our resources to offer solutions – and you can help. 

When you, as a member, decide to stay with us and continue your membership during this time of closure, the Titusville YMCA will remain financially equipped to sustain the impact of this pandemic. With your continued membership draft or payments, and as funds allow, we are able to: 

  • better support and care for our essential staff so they can continue to do critical work during this time of crisis.
  • continue to add to our online services with many resources and activities to keep you and your family healthy and active.
  • fulfill required overhead costs for systems that allow us to serve you remotely, as well as pay for utilities, insurance, and disinfection/cleaning measures in preparation for your return.
  • engage with and support our active older adults.

Many of our members, participants, and staff need the Y during this sustained time of uncertainty, more than ever. 

There are growing needs that the Y is preparing to fulfill related to:

  • child care support for the healthcare professionals in our communities.
  • food delivery and support for food insecure homes. 

We hope if you are able to continue your membership draft or continue to make your membership payment, you will. If you must place your membership on hold, we understand, and we remain here for you. And, if you are able to do more, we ask you to consider a donation to support the work of the Y. 

Our doors may be temporarily closed and our programs postponed due to the coronavirus, but we remain here for you! As soon as the government allows, and with your continued support, we will reopen our facilities with a renewed spirit of gratitude for community, togetherness, and good health. Stay With Us - Your YMCA Membership Options 

Option 1. Maintain your membership

Continue supporting your Y and your community. By continuing your membership draft or payments you help the Y to better support essential staff who remain working in critical functions, enable us to meet our required overhead costs, continue to support and add to our online library, prepare for critical services that our community needs, and to engage and support our senior participants. 

If you choose this option, you do not need to do anything but accept our heartfelt gratitude. Thank you!

Option 2. Turn your membership draft or payment into a donation.

Your membership fee during our closure can be designated as a charitable donation. Upon our reopening we’ll be happy to provide you a donation letter confirming your generous gift. Thank you! 

If you choose this option, please complete the Option 2 form at bit.ly/YOption2. if you are not able to complete this form online, you can call the Y and leave a message. 

Option 3. Receive a credit.  

If you are one of our members who paid in advance (Quarterly or Annually), unfortunately we cannot provide refunds at this time. But what we will do is extend your membership by a length of time equal to the duration of our facility closure.

Option 4. Hold your membership draft.

We understand your decision, and remain here for you. We can put your membership draft on hold, and it will automatically resume when the Y reopens. In order to hold your 15th draft, we will need your response no later than April 8th and 30th draft response needed by April 24th.

Make a Donation to the Y.

Your additional donation can help to provide emergency support, food delivery, financial assistance, and programs to families most impacted by COVID-19. 

If you choose to make an additional donation, please go to our website, www.titusvilleymca.org/donate, or checks can be mailed to the Y.
